Two Rathmines.org signs increased hits to 100+ per day

Rathmines.org is a community based website for the residents and visitors of our suburb within Lake Macquarie.

This portal is for the development of:

  • The Static website called Rathmines.org (Has a blue background)
  • The community forum for discussion and news (Blue and white)
  • and the Community Wiki which you are at now.


This initiative was the result of two key events:

  • I wanted to create a web space that allowed community members to interconnect and cooperate for a better community.
  • I attended a meeting of the Rathmines Progress Association which was the final sitting of the executive for this group.

This website, the forum and the wiki is reliant of community use. Not funding, not an executive and not a committee. For it to be successful all you need to do for its success is return and participate.
