Please support Our Catalina Festival. It will be running on the 23rd of October from 10.00am to 4.00pm in Rathmines Park. There will be a lot to see, do and enjoy.

A Parade from 10.00am from the Community Hall.

Admission. – Adults $5.00 Children Free

Featuring:

Fly Past and Landing by Sea Planes, and Microlites
Formation fly over by Tiger Moths and Cessna aircraft
Aerobatic display by Pitt Special airplane

Entertainment includes:

Carol Heuchan (Bush Poet Laureate), Llynda Nair (Juggler),
No Pressure, Smoking Horns, live bands, and singers.
A large Diorama of the original RAAF Flying Boat Base will be on Display.
Food Stalls – General Stalls
Vintage Cars and Motor Cycles – WWII Military Vehicles
Camel and Pony Rides Animal Farm – Children’s Amusements

Spring is a time for cleaning so I have taken the liberty of archiving the Version 1 Rathmines.org site and replacing it with this new site you see before you now. Some of the features of this new site include:

Comments to posts by community
Media like video and audio are supported
Simple interface and easy to change
Better security
Has anti-spam features as a plug-in.
